This Cookies Policy explains how LaborCode.ph uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit the website. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website or service. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts and device identifiers. They can support website operation, remember preferences, measure use, improve performance and help prevent abuse.
2. Technologies used on LaborCode.ph
Essential and functional technologies
WordPress and website infrastructure may use cookies or local storage needed for administration, session management, login security, form operation, preferences, spam prevention and protection against malicious requests. The LaborCode Navigator uses browser local storage to remember evidence-checklist selections on the visitor’s device. These selections are not treated as a submitted case file and are not sent to LaborCode.ph merely because the checklist is used. Clearing site data or browser storage may erase the saved checklist. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of the website or app from working correctly.
Analytics and performance technologies
LaborCode.ph uses Google Site Kit and Google Tag Manager to support analytics and website measurement. Depending on the active configuration, Google services may set or read cookies and process identifiers, IP-derived location, browser and device information, referral data, pages viewed and interaction events.
Performance, image-optimization, hosting and security systems may also process technical request information. Some operate through server logs rather than browser cookies.
Embedded and third-party content
Articles may link to or embed content from government agencies, courts, video platforms, publishers or other services. A third party may set its own cookies or collect interaction data when its content loads. LaborCode.ph does not control those cookies.
Administrative cookies
Authorized editors and administrators may receive WordPress login, preference and security cookies. These are not intended for ordinary visitors who are not logged in.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to deliver requested pages; remember settings; operate forms and search; authenticate authorized users; detect spam, fraud and security threats; understand traffic and content use; diagnose errors; and improve speed, navigation and editorial decisions.
4. Cookie duration
Some cookies last only for the browser session. Others remain until their stated expiry, until replaced, or until you delete them. Duration varies by WordPress, Google and other provider settings. Server-side logs and aggregated analytics reports may have different retention periods from browser cookies.

You can use browser settings to delete existing cookies, block new cookies, restrict third-party cookies, clear site data or receive alerts before storage occurs. Privacy extensions and device settings may offer additional controls. Blocking cookies may affect search, forms, embedded content, preferences or other website functions.
Browser “Do Not Track” and similar signals are not implemented consistently across services. LaborCode.ph may not be able to respond uniformly to every signal, but available browser and provider controls remain usable.
6. Google controls
Google provides controls for advertising, analytics and account activity through its own products and browser tools. Those controls are managed by Google and may change independently of LaborCode.ph.
7. No sale through cookies
LaborCode.ph does not use cookies to sell personal data to data brokers. Analytics or embedded-service providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy when technologies, providers, configurations or legal requirements change. The latest version and last-updated date will appear on this page.
